What is the Four Js License Manager ?

Product Version Platform
Four Js License Manager All All

The Four Js License Manager (aka FLM) is an independent product managing the licenses.

What does this mean ?

When you install a Genero (or BDS) product (Development or Runtime), you do not need to license the product directly.

You can ask it to use the licenses installed in the Four Js License Manager through the following entries of your fglprofile:

   flm.server
   flm.service
   flm.license.number
   flm.license.key

No, there are some restrictions:

  • With BDS
    • You must have version 3.54 or higher of BDS.
    • With BDS 3.55 on WIndows, we strongly recommend that you use the Four Js License Manager.
  • With Genero
    • You can use any version of Genero available, there is no compatibility problem.
